As Marketeer Dance & Hiphop you will focus on the promotion of club nights in 013. From big drum 'n bass parties in the Main, to intimate house nights in the Next. You know how to find the right target groups, how to appeal to them and how to excite them. You also promote concerts of upcoming and established hip hop stars. Whether they are from the US or Tilburg West, you make sure everyone knows about it. You have knowledge of different scenes, love the night, have an extensive network (or the urge to build one) and you always go the extra mile to make sure your promotional mix is effective.

• Developing and executing promotional plans for club nights, dance and hip hop shows in consultation with the programmer(s) of the events
• Monitoring the operational and financial progress of promotion plans
• Being the sparring partner of the dance programmer for the development of new concepts of dance and night programming, also in the field of communication, feel and look
  
• Translating these concepts to the right target groups with the right means of communication
• Keeping an eye on the latest developments in social media
• Identifying and generating suitable locations for, among other things, outdoor advertising, store promotion, street promotion, school promotion and promotion via other relevant outlets
  
• Acting as a liaison between external organizations, 013 and the dance programmer of 013
• Acquiring target group information from the market to make the promotion of dance and night programming more effective and to further strengthen the reputation of 013
• Promotion of the 'We are 13' Festival

The Marketing & Communication department of 013 consists of a close-knit, creative, professional and driven team, working day in and day out to promote about 350 exciting, innovative, awe-inspiring events in and around 013 each year. From big Main Stage shows to fine work on locations in the city and everything in between; from festivals like WOO HAH! and Roadburn to new upcoming acts.

To complement our team we are looking for a marketer with a love for electronic music, club nights and hip hop. This person makes it a sport to be constantly aware of the latest trends in these genres and is driven to take the promotion of events in 013 to the next level.

Job profile:

• HBO Bachelor professional and intellectual level
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
• Broad knowledge of and affinity with electronic music and hip hop
• High writing skills in Dutch and proficient in English
• Commercial understanding
• Broad knowledge of and feel for various target groups
• Flexible and result driven attitude
• Your network is relevant
• You have a connection with 013 and the city of Tilburg.
• You have strong communication skills and you like to be open towards the outside world.
• You are a team player, without a '9 to 5' mentality
